At the end of bath house row, is the Arkansas Rehabilitation center. It used to be the Army Navy hospital. Catherine's grandfather Dale passed away in this hospital in 1937 three weeks after her father was born. Both our father's families are from Arkansas. Maybe that is why we have enjoyed our stay here so much and feel quite at home.
It is really windy today. We will probably go down to the National park campground and check it out- maybe a hike later. We have lots of chores to do in preparation for departure tomorrow. Happy Labor Day everyone.
See you down the road....
I love Fall. It's crisp, refreshing and pretty, like Spring, but without the pollen :)
ReplyDeleteSooo true, my favorite time of year! Love the colors and the fresh crisp air.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip. I'll try to remember to bring money when I go hiking, that is if I have any left after fueling. :c)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy those campfires!
You've definitely seen more around Hot Springs than we did. Good for you.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the breakfast but those things happen. I always think big lines must mean good food.
Thanks for checking out the National Park campground and letting us know. That's another thing we didn't do and meant to. So I'll be anxious to hear your opinion. We were trying to outrun the flooding in the spring when we were there.
Ahhhh is right! We're really enjoying the cooler temps too. This summer was too hot!
ReplyDeleteYea Fall!! Bring on a good campfire when the night air get's a little bit crisp.
