A Quick Paddle

The sun came out for a little while yesterday.  So, we took the new boat for a quick paddle.  It tracks well and moved through the water nicely.  I think we will enjoy it.

We talked to the contractor and they may get started on our reno next week.  That figures, because I am making a quick trip to NM to visit my mom.  I always seem to be out of town  when stuff needs to be moved :). 

 Today is a little cool but at least the sun is out.  We have no big plans for the day- just hanging out.

    I'm going to have to get you to teach me that quick paddle technique. I'm quite slow and get slower and slower as the voyage goes on... ;c)

    Such a beautiful header picture. Kayak is looking good. But no Catherine??? Today is cool and rainy here 90 miles south of you. Hoping for better tomorrow. We STILL have not paddled here but next stop is Myakka River - SURELY we can paddle there.
