We are making progress. Our master bath is finished. We removed the built in light box. It had to be cut out with a saws-all because all the studs in our condo are metal. The walls were patched and textured. We put in a new light, medicine cabinet, mirror, and faucet. Yeah one room down!
The flooring (except for the kitchen) and most of the new baseboard is down. We are really happy with it and the new baseboard.
Our new washer and dryer are here. Tomorrow they will finish the base boards and paint them and install all the new closet doors. They will install the new washer and dryer and put new sliding doors on. They build new doors to allow for a full size stackable washer and dryer. Catherine is very excited. This is the first time in 22 years she has had a new washer and dryer. As some of you may recall, when we moved from our house in St. Louis we could not even give the washer and dryer away.
It is coming along. We are hoping that tomorrow everything will be finished except the kitchen and the bathroom vanity.
We should be able to clean up and put most of the house back together this weekend.
Looks very nice.
ReplyDeleteNice! Bet you're ready to get back to normal :)
ReplyDeleteLookin' good. You'll be all moved back in time for a big Super Bowl party to watch the Seahawks win!!
ReplyDeleteA new washer and dryer! You surely are stepping in in the world! :cD
ReplyDeleteYour blog didn't pop up on my blog roll for some reason. I finally realized I hadn't seen anything for a while so I went looking for it. Everything looks very nice. I'm sure it's nice to have things back together. It seems like the work was done pretty quickly. Enjoy the new washer and dryer. We got a new washer in the cabin at our GA lot and I was thrilled to have a big machine again.
ReplyDeleteYour remodeling is looking nice. I'm sure you're happy to have some semblance of order again.
