Sunset on Port A, Back in San Antonio

Our last days in Port A were filled with more of the same.  We did some bird watching, kite flying, walking on the beach and lots of eating:).  We had to make a quick trip to San Antonio because Catherine's mac took a dive off the couch(aided by Grace).
Unfortunately, it was a goner. The genius at apple was able to get in so we could get our files. We opted to get a new Mac for Catherine.  I will put a new hard drive in the old one and have myself a mac. I was going to buy a computer anyway because I only have a small net book and I am getting tired of the tiny screen.
Our group left Port A on Monday, March 4.  We came to San Antonio, and the rest of the group had a three day trip back to Kansas. We had a great time in Port A, hanging out with good friends. We miss them already!
We got a new spot at the KOA in San Antonio Wednesday, I made a quick trip to Garden City to pick up some stuff.
We will be in San Antonio until March 17.  Catherine's dad has a birthday tomorrow (Saturday) and our nephews are on Spring break next week.   Hopefully, they can squeeze out a few hours to spend with us.  After spring break, we will head to Florida for a while.

  1. San Antonio is not too bad of a place to have to come back to. Of course, the beach is not as nice... ;c)

  2. Good plan on the MACs. I'm saving up to buy one. I am SO sick of windows BUT how will I do my blog without live writer? By the time I have the money, I'll be out of things to blog about anyway.

Oh wow Florida!! Where???? When?? We're moving over toward the panhandle by April.

  3. How is the KOA in San Antonio? I was thinking of workamping there, heard it was near a bus line to get around town.
My sil's famly is in San Antonio, but they don't RV or camp.
But, I also heard that it is gated because it's in a not so nice neighborhood.

    1. We love the KOA. It is not in a good neighborhood but we have never had an issue. It is on the bus line and very close to downtown. It is right on a great trail for running and biking.

  5. That's one way to get a new computer for sure. Mine's 6 years old, I'll have to drop it off a table or something.
