Run On The River, Heading for Tampa

 Saturday, Catherine and her nephew ran the St. Paddy's day 5k along the San Antonio River.

I opted out of the run this time.  It was a very fun run though and now I wish I had done it. 
The entry fee went towards refurbishment of the riverwalk and trail. Catherine had a really good run.  She posted her best time ever.  She has really been working hard on the running.  I need to get back on the horse,when we get to Tampa or I will get left far behind next time we do a run.
They had a great time.  We have had a good week spending some time with our nephews.  They came over Friday and we went for a long bike ride on the trail by the campground.

 We were supposed to head out this morning, but Catherine is not feeling up to snuff.  So, we did our shortest move yet- .3 miles to another spot for the night.

 Hopefully, she will be back in form and we will be on our way tomorrow.  
Several folks asked why we were heading to Tampa.  As many of you know, we lived there for 14 years and really loved it.  We have lots of good friends there. One of our "dreams" was to own a place on or near the water.  We have some friends in the real estate game and they say prices are heading up and properties are moving.  So, we are headed to Tampa to explore the options.  While we do just fine living in Phiona, we know we want a sticks and bricks again, at some point.  That may be now in Tampa or later someplace else.  Stay tuned....

    Great photos. Congrats to Catherine on her run. Her nephew looks like he'd be a good runner.

    Bob has joined a running group at Brackenridge Park. He wants to get back into running marathons, plus he loves running with someone.

    It will be interesting to hear what you find in Florida.

    Have a safe and fun trip. Watch out for tornadoes along your path!

    Great job Catherine. What fun to share the experience with your nephew!! We're still at Lazydays. Would love to see you if we are still here when you get to Tampa, but really hoping we get fixed up and released soon.

      We are planning to be at the Lazydays campground sometime Saturday. We decided to use our free nights before they expire.

    Sorry to hear Catherine isn't feeling well. She sure looks great in the run picture. Great t-shirt. we're moving toward the gulf coast. let us know if you are anywhere near.

    We hope to be in FL for a vacation while I have a break in waiting for medical appointments. Tampa is on our radar. :c)
