Spring Break

 This campground is packed.  We have never seen so many people, kids, or dogs.  There are 9 Italian Greyhounds in this pen, in front of the Phaeton.  I wonder how many get to sleep on the bed? 



This duck seems to just want to get away from it all.  He positioned himself at the top of a tree.   

Yesterday, we took our nephews to lunch and then to play miniature golf.  We had a good time but there were lots of people and lots of little kids.  I sort of felt like the duck by the time it was over.  I just wanted a quiet place above the fray.

Today, Grace goes in to get groomed and we will spend our day steering clear of the spring break crowds.

    Florida too has an entire month of spring breaks it seems. It began this week here at Blue Spring. I couldn't figure out why the crowds were still here on Monday. I can see I'm getting to be more and more of a curmudgeon. Put me up there with the Duck. A spa day is a brilliant idea!

    Looks like spring break is a time to be boondocking somewhere or staying in a nice 55+ resort.
