That turned out to be a good decision. The night before we left San Antonio, we developed an issue with our TV system. We got sound but no picture. It has happened before and has corrected itself when I reset the HDMI splitter. This time when I reset it, it went off and would not stay on. I connected a wire directly from our receiver to the front TV. It works fine. So we have only had Direct TV on the front TV for the past week.
When we arrived, I biked over to Lazydays service and talked to the guy who installed our sat dish. He gave me a new splitter. I will install it tomorrow. Hopefully, that will solve my issue. If not, I guess we will be making a service appointment.
Hope the splitter does the job...hate for you to waste time getting service:o(( Wow, we just missed you two...we just left LD on Tuesday!!

ReplyDeleteSatellite TV can be extremely finicky when it comes to using splitters - hope the new one works.
ReplyDeleteAt least you were in a convenient place for something to go wrong. Hope it's something simple and you don't get sucked into service. Looking forward to hearing about your time in Florida. Wish we could meet up before we leave.
