Whatever makes your tail wag :)

Friday night, we went to one of our favorite restaurants in Clearwater.  We enjoyed a beautiful sunset on the deck and a very good meal.

The restaurant, Island Way Grill is located next to the Clearwater Aquarium-home of "Winter" the dolphin with the prosthetic tail. We could see that something was going on over there.
They were filming "Dolphin Tale 2" behind that big lighted screen.  Unfortunately, we did not have a star sighting. Clearwater just recently voted to build a new aquarium.  That is pretty astounding considering it was on the verge of closing before they rescued "Winter".
We mostly just ran errands and hung around the house on Saturday.  Grace had her daily walk and found some lizards to chase.

She loves chasing those lizards.  She never catches them but that tail never stops wagging.
Sunday, we rode our bikes down to Pass A Grille and had breakfast.  That was a popular idea.  Check out the bike rack.

It is great to see a whole family out riding.  We rode back home and checked out some open houses.  We are going to refurbish our kitchen and wanted to see what some others looked like.  We got some good ideas.

The weather was so great we took another ride down to Woody's beach bar for the sunset.
Today, Catherine went to Tampa to do some massage and I have been working on our summer travel plans.  We hope to do the Four Corners area national parks this summer.

  1. Maybe having a movie shot there will bring extra income to the aquarium?

  3. Would Grace know what to do with a lizard if she caught one? Maybe it's a good thing she never catches one? :c)

  5. I think little dogs like yours and ours enjoy the 'chase' more than they would the 'catch' which is just fine with me.

Your summer travel plans sound pretty nice - it's a great area to visit.

  6. Sounds like you're having relaxing days. Have fun refurbishing your kitchen. You'll be glad you did it so soon after buying it.

  7. Love seeing Grace. She's such a cutie. Must be pretty frustrating to never get the prey though she's clearly having a good time.

  9. Grace is so cute! That is exactly what Katie does when she sees a lizard. She'll never catch one either (I hope), but she sure loves going after them. Tail wagging the whole time!
