Monday, we spent most of the day at Hillsborough River State park. We enjoyed a picnic lunch on the river. It was a nice paddle. I will let the pictures tell the story....
We really enjoyed being back on the river - the day was just perfect!
Yesterday, we went to Flatwoods Park. Catherine ran and I biked. Then a day of chores. I repaired a flat tire on my bike. It's been a long time since I did that, but it was not too bad. I started to install a new hard drive into Catherine's old Mac. My netbook fan is getting ready to go by the sounds of it. I decided I could put a new hard drive in the mac and have a better computer for the price of fixing the little net book. After I got the old hard drive out, I realized I did not have a Torx #6 screwdriver to remove the mounting posts. So, that project got put on hold. I bought the screwdriver yesterday at Best Buy and now the set up process for the old/new mac is well underway. Even with the extra $. I should have a "new" Mac for under $100.
Catherine is off earning some travel money by doing massage today and I am finishing chores.
Just hanging out in the sun!
We love paddling on the Hillsborough.
ReplyDeleteWe just found you a great waterfront place here in the Keys. Waterfront on a canal, boat davits, room to park MH and a big lot. Price reduced recently to $249k. I know you're looking in the Tampa area but if you change your mind, I'll send you some pics.
Nothing like a few of nature's beasts to make your paddle enjoyable. Looks like you've almost worn out your camera with all those incredible pictures! ;c)
ReplyDeleteBoy that looks like a great day on the river.
ReplyDeleteNot sure we would want to paddle the river with those gators.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you made the most of the old Mac. Way to go! :) Hope you get much use out of it!
ReplyDeleteNice Pictures! Looks like a very nice paddle. Not sure I could get Max on a river with gators in our Sea Eagle.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of the owl. Sounds like a nice paddle!
ReplyDeleteNice wildlife shots. Great job extending the life of your Mac!
