Great sunrise out our kitchen window this morning :).
Yesterday, we went in to Midland and had a wonderful lunch with friends. We were celebrating our friend Ethel's 89th birthday. It was a lot of fun. She is doing great.
After lunch, we helped our friends pick out a Christmas Tree. It was fun. We never had a live tree so it was a new experience for us. Today, we will decorate the tree and get some household chores done.
Enjoy the sunrise!
I love the smell of a real tree in the house. Not real practical in a motorhome but...
ReplyDeleteHAPPY BIRTHDAY to Ethel. 89 and doing great is a real present to everyone who knows her.
ReplyDeleteThis is actually our first year not to have a live tree so I'll be missing the smell of pine. It's such a part of my holiday memories. But I'll get over it. :-)
I just love that you have a windmill in your backyard. Love that picture.
I used to live in Midland! I do miss those sunrise/sunsets! The constant wind - not so much.
ReplyDeleteMy brother and I are going to chop down our Christmas trees tomorrow - I love the smell of a fresh tree in the house. Even when I lived in small apartments, I would have a wreath or a few boughs in the house just for that unmistakable Christmas smell!
Enjoy the tree decorating!
Love the live trees, not too fond of all the needles they drop...
ReplyDeleteSO that's what a surise looks like. Since I've retired, I haven't been up early enough to see one. :c)
Love the sunrise picture.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to your friend Ethel. Nice that you were able to celebrate it with her.
We got a live tree...not a pine, a rosemary;o)) It's small, fits the motorhome and smells wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture of the sunrise! :-) Enjoy your days!
ReplyDeleteHappy 89th Birthday to Ethel. Have fun decorating your Christmas Tree. Almost time for us to put ours up as well.
