Migration
We have been enjoying the migration of the Monarch butterflies since we got back to Garden City. I finally got the camera out and got a couple of pictures.
We had a cool front come in on Monday evening and the high temp was only 67 yesterday. It will warm up a bit later this week- very nice fall weather.
Our friends arrived home yesterday so we are off house sitting duty and back in the rig. We will be here another 10 days or so just chillin' out and enjoying the mild temps.
See you down the road....

ReplyDeleteI bet it is an amazing sight to see the migration! Enjoy the beauty!
ReplyDeleteI love those first few cool Fall days. It's invigorating!
ReplyDeleteI live less than 20 miles from a grove where they overwinter. I have never actually been over there when the butterflies are hanging from the trees, but intend to go there this year!
ReplyDeleteJust amazing that these fragile butterflies can migrate so far. Must be quite a sight to see.
