Changing Direction -

We were supposed to pull out for Pedernales Falls state park today.    On Friday, Catherine's sister fell and broke her leg.  It is a bad break of the tibia- right below the knee.  She should be released from the hospital Monday and will have to have surgery to repair the break later in the week. She will be confined to bed until the surgery. We decided to head for San Antonio to lend a pair of hands- transporting the kids to school, cooking, whatever....
It is nice to have the ability to change direction with the wind and help out when needed.

    That is very nice of you! She will appreciate the help. A broken tibia is a pain in the you-know-what :) (experience speaking) Hope the surgery goes well and that she heels quickly.

    I only broke my ankle and can't imagine how terrible the break you describe must be. Or how I would cope if I had children at home.
    So nice of you to lend a hand and so great that this lifestyle is 100% flexible. One of its many many charms!!

    Wow, that is a bad break (no pun intended). So nice of you to be able to help, but that's what families do. Hope all goes well for sis with the surgery and she bounces back quickly.
