I guess we are really getting ready for retirement. We drove most of the way with the generator and house ac keeping us cool. Lots of feedback indicates that most folks do that because the dash a/c doesn't work well even when it works. Both legs of this journey were 51/2 hrs for a total of 535 miles. We have determined that 41/2 is our limit. Even though we both like riding and driving, we are ready to be out of the bouncing RV after 41/2 hrs.
After we got set up, we joined some of the rally group for an impromptu happy hour. It was great to meet people that we have gotten to know in the virtual world.
Everyone is really nice. It looks to be a very fun week.
