We have been hearing the Great Blues squawk for months but finally got a look at them. There are lots of Black Crowned babies- poor little things -ugly -ugly-ugly.
And last night after a big rain we had dozens of baby frogs all over the sidewalk and flower beds- cute.
It looks like our coach is finally fixed. It turns out that when they replaced the fuel pump (the first one) they also replaced a fuel line. That new fuel line was crimped and no fuel could get through. Finally, ( after rebuilding the entire fuel system one part at a time) the tech stopped listening to the engineers at international and decided to trouble shoot it himself.
I wish he had done that a month ago. So, it turns out our only problem was the bad fuel pump that was originally diagnosed.
I don't even know what to say. We hope to bring the rig home later this week and formulate a new travel plan.

Oh good grief!
ReplyDeleteHow did the tech not notice the fuel line was crimped??? I'm glad it's finished and hopefully you can get on the road and out of the Florida heat.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least you can start making plans now.
ReplyDeleteIt's always something simple. But the bigger question is who crimped the fuel line, that didn't happen by itself. Thank goodness it's finally done.
ReplyDeleteApparently international modifies them for the motorhomes and when they put the end on they sealed it off.
DeleteI just said to Bill, "I wonder how Catherine and Jo Beth are making out with the coach!!" Well, thanks for the answer. Hate that you have been stuck for such a simple thing. Hope you can get out and enjoy some nice travels.
ReplyDeleteWow. Don't you hate it when those that are supposed to know things don't? Hope to see you traveling soon!
