Washington DC

We landed at Reagan National about 10:30 AM.  We got our bags, a bite to eat and then boarded the metro to our hotel.  We are located next to a metro station.  That worked out perfectly yesterday because it rained most of the day.  We decided to visit the holocaust museum in the afternoon. It was very well done.
Today, rain is once again in the forecast. We are planning on the national gallery.

  1. I found the holocaust museum a sobering and difficult museum to visit. I can still smell all those shoes.

  4. Enjoy your time in DC. Having worked there on and off over 10 years, I was lucky to be able to see some of the highlights. The Air & Space and American History museums are my favorite.

  6. We stayed at Greenbelt National Park and it was wonderful being able to walk to the metro and not have to drive at all. You picked two great things to do on a rainy day.
