This was one of the "Blood Moons". The pictures from NASA look very red indeed. Mine look - maybe a little pink? It was still pretty cool. It was the only time I have had an unobstructed view and been able to just sit and watch a lunar eclipse happen.
Cool beans!
Jury duty was a non-event. I reported at 8:00 and about 10:00 one group was selected for court. About 10:15, they let us know that no other jurors would be needed and we were released. They had a good, efficient system. The guy who gave instructions was very funny and it was all in all, a painless process.
Today, I am working at Habitat and this weekend we will be getting ready for our trip to D.C. next week.
We were out watching the eclipse at the same time:o)) Didn't have quite the clear view here in South Carolina!!!
ReplyDeleteYou got some great shots! I slept right through it :)
ReplyDeleteNice moon shots. I got up but it was too cloudy here.
ReplyDeleteSee, that jury duty came in handy to get you up in time to see the eclipse. Great pictures, now I know what I missed while I was getting my 40 winks. :c)
ReplyDeleteIt was raining like the Dickens here in AZ. :(
ReplyDeleteThat's funny how you just happened to look out the window, grab your camera and get some great pics of the lunar eclipse.
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine how many other folks who sat up waiting for hours only to see just "clouds" must feel? Me? I was fast asleep!
Those are great shots of the eclipse. I've never been able to get anything that good. Well I don't know whether I'm glad for you or sad for me that I don't get to hear about your jury duty.
ReplyDeleteCool shots of the lunar eclipse!
