Work Day

I returned to Habitat yesterday.  It was a good day as I worked with some of my favorite crew members.  We are building a new three bedroom house.  The interior walls are up but there was still framing work to be done.  Usually, I get the job of nailing down the hurricane straps. It's kind of a crappy job,  but it has to be done.  However, a new guy showed up and he got that job-yea! I got to use a new tool.

It is basically a .22 that is used to fire nails into concrete.  I fastened down all the walls to the floor.
Then I used the saws all and cut out all the doorways.  I am kind of a tool geek.  So, it was a pretty good day for me.  My back held up fine. 
We have a few showers in the area this morning.  Our sunrise came with a beautiful rainbow.

Catherine has a patient to take to an appointment this morning and Grace has to go in and get her rabies shot this afternoon.  That should keep us out of trouble for another day:).
