It was a cool day for a paddle. We stayed inland and just enjoyed looking at all the houses. We did not see any dolphin but I got a shot of this cormorant, having a bad hair day.
Wednesday, we went over and cleaned the RV. We put the slides out, dusted, and mopped. We have our list together and will start packing up this week.
Thursday, we wrapped up the rehab habitat house. It will get appraised and hopefully sell quickly. It looks so much better with fresh paint, new floors, new light fixtures, and new closet doors. Catherine's Spanish class had a farewell party. They will resume classes in the fall. Most of the activities wind down for the summer. We are already planning on new things we want to do next year.
We saw this manatee on our walk this morning.
We are going to Tampa for dinner with friends this afternoon. Tomorrow we have friends coming over here. We need to get back on the road so we can get some rest :)

Time to hit the road before it gets too hot :) Where are your summer travels taking you this year?
ReplyDeleteLOL that you need to get back on the road so you can get some rest. Congrats on the habitat house and thanks so much for the manatee picture. I haven't seen one in what seems like ages.
ReplyDeleteBusy girls... You need to get rolling and get some time off. This retirement things can be exhausting;o))
ReplyDeleteI think the word 'cool' in Tampa is relative compared to the rest of North America!
ReplyDeleteYou guys do more socializing in a weekend than we do in an entire month(s)!!
I'm beginning to think the word "Relaxing" is not in your vocabulary! :cD
