NM Sunrise on the way to El Paso International

We hit the road before sunrise yesterday and drove from Deming NM to El Paso to catch a plane to San Antonio. I snapped this picture with Catherine's I phone. It is OK but hard to do justice to the NM sunrise with a phone camera.
Air travel was as good as it gets yesterday.  No delays and planes were not overcrowded. You don't get that too often these days. We had a nice visit with family in NM.

Catherine is 46 today! Happy Birthday! We made it to San Antonio yesterday and will be celebrating the birthday with her family.  We are going out to brunch and then attending a SPURS game.  We have never been to the new arena and I have never been to a professional basketball game. Catherine's family lives in the Windcrest subdivision in San Antonio and they really do up the decorations for xmas.  We will try to get some pictures and post them.
