Yesterday, I borrowed a friends pressure washer and the friend and we gave the rig a nice bath. It was really dirty after 7 months in storage. After a couple of hours, and some scrubbing she is bright and shiny like new.
We were able just to back out of our spot and wash right there. We have a water spigot and electric at our site. That made the whole operation easier. The pressure washer was really helpful for the roof. While we washed we ran the generator, and tested both air conditioners and the refrigerator. Everything seems to be in working order.
We need to figure out which car we are going to tow this summer and either get the fit set up to tow or get our drive shaft disconnect serviced on the truck. Then we will be ready to roll. It will be time to pull out before we know it!
Lookin' Purdy:o)))
ReplyDeleteSure looks like you are just about set. Lucky you guys! Have a great summer.

I guess you've had better luck with your driveshaft disconnect than we have with ours. If it was me, I'd go with the towable car.
ReplyDeleteBet you can't wait to hit the road. Hope you have better luck than me, I always run into rain right after I wash my MH. :c(
