Sunday, we took advantage of a sunny morning to take a walk on the beach. It has been warm but our mornings have been overcast and foggy. Sunday was perfect.
We rode our bikes over to St. Pete beach and had a nice walk.
The beach was busy with the usual suspects. There was a large group of these terns. I never noticed how well they blend in with the sand until I tried to take this picture- I missed the bird twice :).
There were lots of people in addition to birds. Many sandcastles were underway and several kids were swimming but it was cool enough to deter most of the adults.
Monday, was an uneventful day for us. Catherine volunteered at the Library and I did water aerobics and went grocery shopping.
Today, we are gathering cost information for the renovation of the clubhouse library. I and not sure how we got in charge of that project but we did. Hopefully, we can get it wrapped up today and enjoy some more sun before the cold front moves in tonight.
I think you guys are the perfect people to chair the library reno :)
ReplyDeleteMove further south and the cold front won't get to you till Thursday! :) LOL
That little tern did a good job camouflaging itself in the sand.
ReplyDeleteWith your building skills you could do the library reno yourself.
