We are finishing up the "Girl Power" Habitat house. It is an all woman build that is my latest volunteer site. It has been a lot of fun. I was asked to participate in a dedication last Saturday as the volunteer with the most hours on the house-I posted about starting in September. I forgot to take pictures :( I presented the hammer ( the symbol of coming together to build) to the new homeowner. The dedication was very nice.
We have had some chilly weather which has given us the chance to flip on our fireplace to take the chill off the room.
It is so much better than using the furnace.
Today, we are going to go for a long walk and then joining some friends for Thanksgiving lunch at one of our favorite restaurants.
Next week, I will be traveling to New Mexico to visit my family for a few days.

It's just wonderful that you are the woman with the most hours on the "Girl Power" house. Wish Catherine had gone to take some pictures. That would have been great to see. Safe travels to NM! We'll be doing Deep Hole the week of January 25th some time. Will you be around??
