We have just been rocking along enjoying spectacular weather. I have done several Habitat days and Catherine has been driving a patient once a week and volunteering at the library. We drove out to Lazydays to visit Gin and Syl. It was great to see them again. I can not believe it is almost Thanksgiving. There has not been much to blog about just regular life at the beach :)
Wednesday, I joined some friends for a boat trip down the intracoastal waterway. It was a perfect day- maybe a little cool. Just as we came by our condo, a pod of dolphin came up to investigate us.
We saw two at first and then they were everywhere.
One had a rather distinctive dorsal fin. They played all around the boat for about 10 minutes.
I should have gotten some better pictures. But I was so busy watching them that I did not get any great shots.
Today, we are going over to Tampa for a gathering at a friends house. That will be fun. It has been a while since we had a gathering.
It is quite a bit cooler today but it looks like it will be a nice weekend. We have not made any firm plans but I am sure we will get out and enjoy it.
How cool to be surrounded by dolphins!
ReplyDeleteCool dolphins! I'm never fast enough to get a decent shot.
ReplyDeleteHope to catch up with you guys sometime this winter. We'll be in FL till mid-March.
A pod of dolphins now that is just so fabulous. I love your pictures. So close. That's a dream of mine and you have it right outside your door. Lucky lucky lucky!!
