We have just been hanging out getting prepared for purchasing and moving in to the condo. Everything is going well.
We have seen several cranes but no young ones lately. I hope they all made it.
We went to Lazydays last week to check out rigs for downsizing. We really like the Allegro Breeze. It has many features of our big coach -just smaller. Lazydays is anxious to do a deal - not so much to sell the breeze, but to sell our coach again. It seems we have a very - " in demand" coach. They have made us a good offer on the trade.
We love our coach for full time living, but now that we have the condo - we won't need as much space for stuff. A smaller rig will allow us to fit in more state and national parks - and people's yards :).
We are going to go tomorrow and drive it again. We will keep you posted :)...
On another note- the weather here has just been fantastic. There have been a few hot and humid days, but mostly just warm and sunny with cool mornings. This morning it is drier and 50 degrees. We will start the day with a run for Catherine and a bike ride for me. Good Stuff!
I hope you find just the right rig.
ReplyDeleteLooks like everything is coming together nicely.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first glanced at your post title, I got scared. Thought it said "Hanging from the Cranes". Phew!
ReplyDeleteYou're doing just what our long term plans are, to downsize some day when we stop fulltime travel. That won't be anytime soon, though.
Good choice on the Breeze, I've looked at a couple and they are very impressive for a small unit. Good luck, hopefully all falls into place like you want. :c)
We saw the Breeze at the Tampa show a year ago. We liked a lot the concept of a smaller Class A diesel.
ReplyDeleteWOW...you two are moving right along!!! Hope all goes well and you get what is best for the two of you:o))
ReplyDeleteHang in there for a 'good deal' - make those guys sweat a bit. Good luck with whatever you decide.
ReplyDeletelove the Breeze, hey does your condo have a 50 amp hookup ;)
ReplyDeleteWe wish it did - I will try to get on the board and push for some visitor RV spots :)
DeleteI've forgotten the specs of your current RV. I'm interested in what is in such great demand. Haven't looked at the Breeze but will now. You guys are really flying along. All moved in and trading in the RV. Glad to hear everything is going so well for you including the weather. I thought you might get a boat instead of another RV or will it be a boat AND a smaller RV?? :-)
ReplyDeleteIt is 40ft- the breeze is 32. I am sure there will be a boat in there somewhere eventually but that will have to wait for a while.
