We also saw some deer and this racoon moving through the grassland.
We saw another very large 1000 year old Oak tree. This one we could walk under and Catherine gave it hug - just for you Sherry :).
As we made our way around the park, we saw a Crested Cara Cara and an American Kestral. At the end of the road, we climbed the boardwalk and saw some whooping cranes, but they were pretty far away.

The time is also flying by here in Port A. We only have two weeks left. We are off to see something new!
The End!
Thinking of a tree that old just boggles the mind.
ReplyDeleteWhat a GREAT post. This day is right down my alley. Looking good hugging that tree Catherine. Port A is top of my list for Texas after following you guys around.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bird pics! I still can't get over seeing so many gators up close and personal!
ReplyDeleteYou end picture is hilarious! Great shot!
ReplyDeleteI see Catherine has perfected the tree hugging technique that Sherry uses. It's nice that we can learn good things from each other. :c)
These posts are great! Where are you going next?
