O'Leno State Park, New Orleans

We left St. Pete Saturday about noon in 30 MPH winds headed for O'Leno state park.   This was a surprise birthday party for my Habitat Supervisor.  She just bought a new RV and  the surprise was a camping party.  We had a great time.
Nature walks and campfires but....


 Can I just say it was cold?  It was was 27 degrees the first night and 25 the second.  At 8 in the morning my propane stopped flowing.  I hooked up an external tank and that worked.  We thought our gauge was broken and we were out of propane. When we stopped to fill, we still had 2/3 of a tank.  It is working OK now.  I am glad I am a pack rat and kept the stuff to hook up an external tank that I bought about 10 years ago.

 We stayed in Pensacola last night and made our way to the French Quarter RV park in NOLA today.  We got here, got hooked up and got the state park sand cleaned out of the rig before the skies opened up. We are getting a much needed bath courtesy of mother nature.
We have not been to NOLA since before the storm.  We are here 4 nights and then we meet up with our friends at a state park . Ready for some good food and good music.

    Glad you got your heat figured out. Saturday was one of the coldest days in a long time. Have fun in NOLA
