Why are there a pair of jeans draped across the heater vents as we are rolling down the road? Well, as I said earlier, we needed to get the RV to Springfield for her brake recall work and since we still work, we have to go when we have the time-like today when it was pouring down rain. I wore my new LL Bean wind/rain breaker and it worked great on my top half. However, while I was hooking up the truck in the rain, my bottom half was up in the air a fair amount and got quite wet. So.... I road to Springfield wrapped in a towel ... while my jeans dried on the dash. I was watching Catherine carefully to ensure there was no speeding or any other activity that might get us pulled over. I can just hear my self. "You see officer....."
As usual, Catherine did a great job piloting our girl down the road while I manned the Ipod and we listened to a book. We love being on the road and we work together really well. We can't wait until we have more time for it.....
Then we will have time to stop and see the "really good stuff" like the worlds largest tricycle and the worlds largest pink elephant. And if it is raining, we can just say "lets wait and go tomorrow"
