Lazy Day on the Big Island

We had a lazy day on the Big Island a short drive and a couple walks around the resort property. 12 hrs of air travel and gaining 4 hours messes with our internal clocks. We took a lesson from this guy and had a long afternoon nap.  Yes- he (or she) was just sleeping because I heard him snore.

A local group called "the Advocats" feeds some feral cats located at the public beach next door.  This evening a mongoose decided to share their meal.

We then enjoyed a beautiful sunset at Waikoloa beach. A nice ending to our first day.
