Aloha!

Aloha from the Big Island.
We left in rain and sleet.  We got to LA about 4:00 Pacific time and left about 5:30.  We landed early in Kona at 8:30.  It was very dark when we got in and the desk clerk tried to up-sell me on an ocean front room for some extra $$ .

I figured that for the extra bucks I could walk around the building to see the ocean :).  So, imagine my surprise when I woke up and this is the view from our balcony. We look right out over Anaeho'omalu Bay.  This is close enough to ocean front for me.  A beautiful area.  We are planning a whale watching excursion on Sunday and debating a fly over volcanoes National park maybe Saturday.  Stay tuned.
