We had a wonderful trip. Seven nights in the RV-felt really good. Most of our RVing women buddies pulled out early Monday morning. As we were not scheduled to leave until Tuesday, we went back in to town for a great lunch at
local flavor cafe.
It was really great food. Then we treated ourselves to a massage at the Seven Spa at Basin Springs Hotel. It was a great massage but they could improve the "spa" part. We drove home today. At first it did not appear we would make it as we had an issue with the RV, We kept losing power climbing the hills and a weird clattering noise like a sticking valve was coming from the engine. We called a repair shop and were going to limp in. When we came out of the mountains to a larger- more straight road and got up some speed, the engine started running smoothly. So we pressed on home. We dropped it off to finish the cabinet repairs and winterize :(.
At the beginning of next season we will have it checked over A-Z. It was a great trip but always feels good to be home. I wonder if we will miss that feeling when the MH is home.
See you soon.
You'll still get that great feeling after a day or so out, and you return to the rig. That will be home! :)
ReplyDeleteWe always feel that way when we have been gone from the rig for a week end or even a whole day. Stay safe.
