Eueka Springs

Third time is a charm.  This is my third attempt at this blog.  I had it just about finished yesterday and lost the wifi. (learn to save frequently) and again early this morning and user error resulted in a lost post (learn to save frequently) So here we go again.  Arrived in Eureka Springs Wednesday afternoon.  We are at Wanderlust rv park.  The staff is really nice but the spaces are a bit too close together for me.  Our rally group is in the front part of the park. There are some more spacious sites in the back.
A tight window between trees

We had some trouble getting our sat signal locked in.  But as you can see it is a tight spot between two trees and after moving the rig a couple of times, leveling a couple of times and doing the search a couple of times we finally got locked in.
Morning Dog Walk
Thursday after the morning dog walk (I sometimes wonder if it is a rally of Women or dogs :) we went to War Eagle mill.  They were having their fall craft show. Wow!  There were a ton of people.  It is a huge show and had the full range from "junk" to fine art.  We did manage to find one of those guys making wood signs.  We will soon have a "welcome to our campsite" sign.   On the way home we stopped at Keels Creek Winery for a tasting.  They had some really nice wines and some interesting twists on the traditional varieties you find in Missouri.  We purchased two bottles.:)
Grace enjoying her walk

Yesterday after  "the walk ", we ventured into Eureka Springs. It is a fun little town.
Lots of shops (yes we did some) and lots of restaurants.  We prattled around town most of the day and then took a ghost tour of the 1886 Crescent Hotel.  The history of the hotel was really interesting.  We were not as enamored with the ghost stories.  All in all, it was a fun day.
